Objective of the course: This course is designed to offer knowledge in analytical methods in vibration analysis of continuous and discrete systems with and without damped.

  • Transform method solutions of continuous systems-Wave solutions

  • Damped systems

  • Vibration under combined effects

Assessment Methods: Each of two 2-hour written midterm examinations 20%, each of 4 homework assignments 5%, 2-hour written final examination 40%. Exams are held during the regular midterm- and final-exam periods of the academic calendar
