Catalog Description :

General Computer Aided Mechanical Design. Solid Modeling Fundamentals, Sketching, Dimensioning and Constraining.

Wireframe Modeling Techniques. Surface Modeling Fundamentals. Assembly Modeling Fundamentals.

Course Objectives :

The goals of this course are to provide an understanding of the Computer Aided Mechanical Design concepts. These include

Part(solid), Surface and Assembly Modeling concepts. The student will have the ability to build 3D parametric models from 2D

parametric sketches, to create semi-automatic Technical Drawings and to make design modifications using parametric tools.

Prerequisites :

Computer Aided Engineering Drawing knowledge is strongly recommended.
