IZTECH Reunion Day, the first of which was organised last year, will take place for the second time on May 18, 2013 with the support of IZTECH Alumni Association. IZTECH welcomes all graduates to the “2nd IZTECH Reunion Day”, which will take place at 18.00 on May 18, 2013, Saturday at the Library Performance Hall.

Porous and Powder Materials Symposium and Exhibition

International Porous and Powder Materials Symposium and Exhibition organised by IZTECH academics will take place between September 3 and 6, 2013 in İzmir. The symposium is planned to be one of the most comprehensive of its kind and it will host an exhibition of products in this field and related characterization and production equipment as well as targeting the scientific and technological dimensions of the use of porous and powder materials.

Advanced Materials World Congress
|

IZTECH is going to organize Advanced Materials World Congress in cooperation with the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM). This will be the third gathering of the Congress, the first of which was in India and the second in China. IZTECH will be hosting the Congress, which will take place between September 16 and 19, 2013 at Altınyunus Hotel in Çeşme.

Last weekend, IZTECH graduates enjoyed the rightful pride of returning the campus, where they once were students, with professional titles years later. IZTECH 2nd Reunion Day was celebrated on May 18, 2013 at the Library Performance Hall with the contribution of IZTECH Alumni Association. The event made it possible for the graduates to remember the good old days together as well as providing a platform for the exchange of ideas. New Director Appointed to School of Foreign Languages

Assist. Prof. Sinem Bezircilioğlu was appointed as the director of IZTECH School of Foreign Languages. Dr.Sinem Bezircilioğlu, who has worked as an instructor for 13 years at IZTECH School of Foreign Languages, has stated that the focus will be on a more active approach to English Preparatory Education in the light of latest developments and innovations in language teaching in the coming period and added that new languages such as Chinese and Spanish will be offered to those students interested

Having qualified for the ECTS Label in 2010 and 2012, 13 universities, including IZTECH, have been presented their awards. IZTECH Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Güden was submitted our university’s award for its ECTS Label in 2012 by the President of Higher Education Council, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Çetinsaya. The ceremony was hosted by Aegean University at Atatürk Kültür Merkezi Adnan Saygun Hall on May 6, 2013. Additionally, 19 other universities were given awards for qualifying for the Diploma Supplement
